Go BackLoch Ness - Thursday 5th & Friday 6th April
We had tomato soup and rice pudding for breakfast and were growing quite fond of this. We left Backpackers Lodge in Drumnadrochit and knew we had a gruelling 19 mile hike ahead of us.

The day was draining and exhausting in every way. We made it to the four star youth hostel in better time than we thought and settled in.

We had all taken too many ‘Just In Case’ items.
Even Monkey was shattered after the long days walk and started complaining about the strange choice of breakfast. We had hot dogs for dinner and had a very early night. We were all exhausted and very sleepy.

Friday 6th April 2007

Home time today and we were glad of a day to chill. Everyone slept late and did their own thing for breakfast.

We visited some tourist spots and had a make shift lunch outside Morrison’s.

We caught the bus home and changed once at Perth before a very kind bus driver dropped us off at the park and ride instead of Edinburgh.

A great experience !!
